Open-winged Ruby-throated Hummingbird

The bird is entirely hand carved from basswood and painted with acrylic colors. It is mounted on a hand carved and hand painted wooden base with flowers. It measures 9¾"H x 4"W at the base. The bird is 3½" from beak to the end of the tail, with a 3¼" wingspan. Glass eyes and the feet are hand made from modeling putty.
